Monday :(

Today is Monday, June 6th. I am getting very anxious for the end of the year. I am very stressed out about finals, but i am more stressed that i can't be outside enjoying the amazing weather!! I am so glad that on Wednesday, I am out of school for the summer and I am officially a sophomore! I can't wait to go swimming and tanning. I will even be able to spend more time with my friends and family!

Kasey Carlson

One of my best friends, Kasey Carlson, is in surgery today. I got to see her yesterday before she left for her break. She is lucky that she doesn't have to finish off the school year and she got excused for some things, but I wouldn't want to start my summer with surgery. I feel really bad for her and I miss her a lot. My second and fourth hour classes are very lonely for me. Hopefully I will get to see Kasey this summer a lot and she can help me babysit. School isn't the same without her here. I am hoping to go see her in the hospital sometime and we will watch out favorite movie, She's the Man. Scoliosis and Spinal Fusion

My survey

I did a survey on sports. Only two people took it. They both agree that the best way to raise money to start a new sport is to do a fundraiser, They think we should start now. They are both willing to help raise money and fundraise. One person would like to see a cheer team started, but they don't think many people would join. Another person, wants to see a swimming team. They think about 30 people would join.

Birthday

My birthday is coming up. It is on Friday, May 27th. I got some presents early. Kasey gave me a picture of us and pretzel m&ms. Kaity got me tank-tops, nail polish, a headband, and a new phone case. My mom gave me a cappuccino machine and cappuccino. I still have more presents to come and my dad is giving me 100.00 dollars. Friday is Alex's birthday too. Happy birthday Alex!

Sports survey

Kasey

May 27th is Kasey's last day at school. She has to get surgery. That just happens to be my birthday and it is going to be a very sad time. She will be gone for the rest of the school year. Hopefully she will come visit me when i babysit this summer. The only good thing is that she has to do her finals early and i don't. :) I will miss her a lot and hopefully i will be able to go see her when she is in the hospital and we will watch "She's the Man" together! I hope she heals fast and ill be ready to spend my summer with her! :)

Finals

I am very stressed about finals. The teachers are piling homework on us because it is getting towards the end of the year. Now, we have to start studying and getting ready for final tests and projects. That will ruin the last 2 and a half days of school! I wish we got a break before we had to worry about finals. These last 13 and a half days of school are going very slow. I want summer so i can babysit, enjoy the weather, have no homework, sleep in, and be lazy!

Scheduling

Today we got to schedule for our next year classes. That means the year is coming to an end. Not really fast enough though.. Mrs. Scheller even made us do an assignment when we were supposed to miss her class! Me and KC have no idea how to do it and now we are very mad. The only good thing is that we all got the classes that we wanted. Hopefully next year will be better and in 18 days we are Sophomores! :) Unfortunately our favorite teacher Mrs. Swanson was not able to make it for scheduling day. She would have made it a lot better.

Tetris

Tetris is the most amazing game in the world. I did research and found out that playing tetris can help prevent flashbacks. The link below shows where you can see the article. It is good for you and it is also fun and addicting. The pieces are called tetrominoes and they each have four segments. The game was released on June 6th, way back in 1984 by Alexey Pajitnov in the Soviet union. It has won many awards for best game of the year and many more. Now, it's you time to try it out!! Pediatric Nurse

When i get older i want to be a pediatric nurse. I am going to go to college for 4 years. For two years, i will take nursing and science classes. For the next two years, i am just going to continue my science classes. I am hopefully going to work at St. Mary's in Duluth. I am going to do my general classes my 11th and 12th grade year so i don't have to go to college as long. I have always had a love for children and babies and i think it would be best to be able to help them out!

My favorite sport

My favorite sport is soccer. I played soccer for four years when i was a little younger. I only stopped because i had to go to Northwestern middle school every day for practices. I wish they offered it somewhere closer than that. Soccer has always been my favorite sport. I'm not a big sporty person, but I love soccer. This also explains why She's the Man is my favorite movie. It's my favorite actress and my favorite sport. What's your favorite sport?

Dance Recital

On Saturday night, i went to a dance recital at the Northwestern High School. I was very jealous of their school. It is huge! My little sister, Brittney, did an amazing job. the Northwood dance team is taught by Sarah Nelson. They danced to the song "Cats" and they also danced to "Hard knock life" which was absolutely amazing. It was very well planned out, it fit the song perfectly, and they looked like they had practiced it a lot. I hope my sister stays in dance because i had a blast and so did she!

Festival Of Nations

Tomorrow Spanish 1,2,3 and 4 are traveling to Saint Paul to attend Festival of Nations at the River Centre. We leave after first hour and get back around 7:30. We also get to stop and eat on our way home. While we are there, we get to see different items and try different foods from many other countries. We can also buy souvenirs. We are not going to be the only school. There are going to be many schools there at once. We get to spend all day there and it will be a fun experience seeing all of the different things! I get to sit with my friends on the bus and hang out with them all day without getting yelled at for talking like we do in class.FFestival of nations  River Centre

She's the man

She's the man is the best movie in the world. Not only is it the best movie ever, but it has the best actress ever as the main character! She's the man is based of of the Shakespeare play, "Twelfth night." While Viola's (Amanda's) brother, Sebastian,  sneaks to London to continue his music career, Viola tells her mother she is going to her dad's house. In this time, Viola takes her brothers place at school. She does a lot of work to disguise her looks, voice, and walk. Viola does this so she can play soccer because the girls team at Cornwall got cut. She falls in love with Duke and has to keep it secret because he thinks she is a guy. In the end, Viola helps Illyria beat Cornwall (her old school) and finally admits that she is not Sebastian and that she is his very own sister. This movie is a great mix of comedy and romance. See for yourself what happens next!

Today, Brian turned 18. I believe he can be the next Miley Cyrus because he has been climbing this mountain for 18 years! He is an amazing singer. So Brian, there's always gonna be another mountain, but you still gotta make it move. Life's what you make it so make it rock!! Hahahahahhaha

English Test

I just got done with an English test. It's such a crime for teachers to be fun sometimes. We learned about it 3 months ago and now we have a test on it?! I think we know how to communicate and have a conversation with people. We're human beings! We're not going to remember this anyway. We cram the night before and by the time the test is over, we don't remember anymore so it's a waste of time and we don't learn from it.
